The Electric Garden

Movement. Light. Fire. Transformation.

Some residents of The Pink Hotel perform on stage.

Others gather in The Electric Garden.

The Electric Garden at The Pink Hotel a rooftop LED and fire arts training collective in Chicago featuring performers practicing flow arts movement and illuminated performance beneath a glowing Art Deco glass conservatory

The Electric Garden is a small training collective exploring movement, LED arts, performance, ensemble work, and eventually fire arts.

Part creative laboratory, part training ground, and part community, The Garden is designed for curious people who want to develop new skills while becoming part of something larger than themselves.

No previous experience is required.

Only curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to learn.

What We Do

Weekly sessions may include:

  • LED prop training
  • Flow arts fundamentals
  • Performance skills
  • Stage presence
  • Improvisation
  • Ensemble movement
  • Choreography
  • Fire safety education
  • Creative development
  • Event preparation

Some members arrive with dance backgrounds.

Others come from circus, theater, burlesque, visual arts, fitness, or no performance experience at all.

Everyone starts somewhere.

Summer 2026 Cohort

We currently gather:

Sundays
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Chicago

Through June, training focuses on movement, LED arts, performance fundamentals, and community building.

Beginning in July, eligible participants may continue into fire arts training.

Because fire training requires additional safety standards and commitment, participation is limited.

Only a small number of new Fireflies are accepted at a time.

Future Performance Opportunities
