About Emma Lucia
Emma grew up as a competitive gymnast, developing the strength, flexibility, body awareness and control that now inform her performance work.
Her specialties include aerial, pole, pole silks, lollipop, improvisation and physical theatre. She also teaches at Chicago-area studios and continues to develop work across live performance and movement.
That combination of athletic technique and theatrical instinct makes Emma particularly useful in productions where a performer needs to do more than present a standalone act. She can work within a larger visual concept, respond to the room and contribute to the character of an event.
Emma is based in Chicago and available for select travel and out-of-town engagements.
Performance Specialties
Aerial Performance
Visually striking movement for featured moments, atmospheric entertainment and larger event productions.
Lollipop
A sculptural specialty apparatus that can create a strong visual focal point within an event environment, subject to the artist’s setup and venue requirements.
Pole + Pole Silks
Athletic, movement-driven performance combining strength, flexibility and visual impact.
Improvisation + Physical Theatre
Character and movement work suited to immersive experiences, theatrical environments and entertainment designed to interact with the energy of the room rather than remain isolated on a stage.
Flexibility + Movement
Emma’s gymnastics background gives her a strong physical vocabulary for choreographed ensembles, specialty movement and visually driven performance concepts.
A Strong Fit For
Emma can be considered for corporate galas, brand activations, cocktail receptions, hospitality events, private celebrations, immersive productions, cabaret and nightlife.
She is particularly useful when an event calls for a performer who can combine specialty movement with theatricality rather than functioning only as a standalone act.
Emma in Vaudezilla Productions
Emma’s combination of movement skill, adaptability and character work makes her useful across Vaudezilla’s live event and theatrical environments.
Depending on the production, Emma may be considered for a featured specialty act, choreographed ensemble, atmospheric performance, physical theatre or character-based entertainment within a larger guest experience.
For projects requiring more than a single featured performer, Vaudezilla can incorporate Emma into a fully coordinated custom entertainment production.
Aerial + Venue Planning
Aerial entertainment requires more than choosing an act.
For aerial bookings, Vaudezilla confirms the proposed apparatus, available performance space, ceiling and clearance considerations, load-in requirements and any necessary venue, rigging or structural approvals before the performance scope is finalized.
This allows the entertainment to be designed around what the room can safely and realistically support.
When aerial performance is not appropriate for a particular venue, Vaudezilla can recommend alternate specialty-performance formats that preserve the visual impact without forcing the wrong act into the room.
One Performer or a Complete Experience
You do not need to determine the exact act or apparatus before contacting us.
Tell us who is gathering, where the event is happening, what the room needs and what you want guests to experience.
Vaudezilla can recommend Emma for the right performance format or incorporate her into a larger cast with dancers, immersive characters, musicians, hosts and other specialty performers.
