Chicago After Midnight

VAUDEZILLA ORIGINAL EXPERIENCE · CHICAGO

Dinner is over. Chicago is not.

Chicago After Midnight is a private immersive entertainment experience that begins at the threshold between an ordinary evening and something the guests did not know was waiting for them.

It is not a sequence of unrelated acts. The room begins to know the guests, respond to them, give them influence over what happens next, and finally recognize them as part of the story.

The Four-Word Loop

The experience is built around four simple movements.

KNOW

The room knows who has entered it.

RESPOND

Music, performers and discoveries begin to answer the guests.

CONTROL

For a moment, the guest can change the rhythm of the room.

RECOGNIZE

The evening ends by recognizing that the guest changed the room by entering it.

The Invitation

The experience begins after the expected part of the evening has ended. A host opens another door.

The Threshold

Guests enter Chicago After Midnight without needing to know what happens next.

The Pulse

Movement and music begin to make the room feel responsive rather than staged.

The Impossibility

A moment arrives that should not quite make sense. The evening becomes slightly less interested in explaining itself.

The Curiosities

Objects, old sounds and small discoveries give guests something to touch, choose or wonder about.

The Future

The guest is invited to imagine what Chicago has not become yet — and briefly direct what happens in the room.

After Hours

The room relaxes into conversation, champagne and the feeling that something private has been shared.

The Recognition

The final moment turns attention back toward the guest: not simply as the person at the center, but as the person whose presence changed the room.

The Evidence

A final photograph or keepsake gives the night proof that it happened.

People Inside the Room

Chicago After Midnight is cast around the guests, the room and the version of the experience being created. These Vaudezilla artists are already part of the creative language surrounding the experience.
